Drop in to practice and/or receive TT. New, intermediate, and advanced practitioners welcome, as well as those interested in only receiving TT. We begin with a short reading about an aspect of TT, followed by a guided meditation, then we exchange/provide TT sessions.
These 2 days are an introduction to the history, application and theory of Therapeutic Touch in health and healing and how it is being applied in all other areas of therapeutic work with people and animals.
The experiential workshop offers exercises, meditations and practical steps for the participant to become familiar with TT and how they can integrate Therapeutic Touch into everyday practice with family and friends.
This group offers opportunity to practice and build your TT skills within a welcoming healing community. We welcome TT practitioners of all levels and non-practitioners, too.
Many of our regular attendees have taken TT Basic through Advanced level classes in NYC through this group. $5 donation is asked on behalf of the NYTC.

At each practice group we have a relaxing meditation, offer Therapeutic Touch sessions to each other and our guests, and have a period for reflection on those sessions with our Healing Partners and the group. We also sometimes have guest speakers, so check in with Sue to get on the mailing list.

Pumpkin Hollow Retreat Center was the birthplace of Therapeutic Touch, developed by Dora Kunz and her longtime student and colleague Dolores Krieger, Phd, RN. They created a program for teaching the procedures and attitudes necessary for TT. Formal classes began at PHRC, where patients were referred by their physicians.
