DESCRIPTION:Katherine Rosa\, PhD\, FNP-BC\, QTTT is the co-director of the Stress Management  and Resiliency (SMART) Program\, Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine  at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. One of her areas of interest is in the  neurobiology of compassion in compassion contemplatives and how it may  influence healing. She will share some of the research and its relation to the  practice of Therapeutic Touch. She has extensive experience teaching individuals  and groups on meditation\, resiliency strategies\, and the practice of Therapeutic  Touch. DESCRIPTION:Therapeutic Touch is a conscious\, mindful process. Over two days\, in this Transpersonal Nature of Therapeutic Touch workshop we will build on the basic Therapeutic Touch knowledge and skills learned in Foundations of Therapeutic Touch and the insights gained from regular practice of Therapeutic Touch. As we dialogue together we’ll gain a deeper understanding of our relationship to our own inner self and that of our healing partner. \nPrerequisite: Foundations of Therapeutic Touch taken September 2023 or earlier.
