Oliver, age 45, is very ill in Vanderbilt University hospital, fatty liver and an acquired hospital staph infection which is not responding to antibiotics. His mother Maylin who is a dear friend, needs strength and calm as she is in Tennessee for Oliver but her daughter in California is 34 wks pregnant has developed pre eclampsia.
