In David’s bold new book Early Exits, he speaks of the importance of “growing” through the natural process of Ego- Deconstruction- a part of our changes as we approach our end-of-life journey. There are many parallels between those changes and within the TT process. For example, in emoting compassion during the “centering” process; and, in the subsequent offering of energy and during sessions we “get out of our own way”. We are open to the flow of Universal energy and understand that the outcome of nothing is in our hands. As in the dying process, the Ego gets lost, as it does in the TT sessions as we know that the Healing partner is the one doing the healing. There are other parallels that David offers beyond the ego-deconstruction, such as David’s explanation of Integral Theory which relates to the Ground of Being, the process of intending and then surrendering- allowing what IS, to flow.
