Kate Dean-Haidet PhD, PMH-CNS, a retired Hospice/Palliative Integrative Care CNS will discuss the topic of framing Therapeutic Touch through multiple lenses in the humanities. As a kaleidoscope provides exquisitely distinct compositions of pattern, shape and color…. So too, each Therapeutic Touch treatment is a uniquely particular combination of energies , with an intention to pattern the human energy field towards health, order and wholeness. This brief workshop is a no-ideas-barred discussion of ways to think, talk and write about TT, beyond scientific research that uses reductionistic methods to produce statistically generated conclusions about the “biofield”.
